Freshman Mary Kathryn Topping (Chesterfield) competed in the Girls State Open Qualifier Tournament on Thursday, October 24th. She finished in 1st place in a field of 23 and qualified for the VHSL Girls State Tournament. The State tournament will be held on Monday, October 28th at Heritage Oaks Golf Course in Harrisonburg.
