“Congratulations, Emma! This is fantastic news,” said Michael White, Language Department Chair. “And congratulations to Yoko Eshita [Emma’s teacher] for her success in growing our Japanese program!”

“Emma has been an outstanding student,” said Ms. Eshita. “Since her freshman year, she has expressed a strong interest in the Japanese language and culture. She is currently enrolled in Japanese 2 and plans to continue her studies in Japanese 3. I am confident that she will contribute meaningfully to the Japanese Program next school year by sharing what she has learned in Japan.”
