MW Math Modeling students to compete at SABR Analytics Conference

SABR Analytics Conference
March 13-15, 2020
Phoenix, AZ

Mr. Dickson Benesh is taking twenty-five MW students to the ninth annual SABR Analytics Conference in Phoenix that brings together the top minds in the baseball analytics community to discuss, debate and share insightful ways to analyze and examine the great game of baseball.

The Analytics Conference schedule consists of a combination of Guest SpeakersPanels, and Research Presentations — plus the unique Diamond Dollars Case Competition, in which undergraduate, graduate and law school students from across the country analyze and present a real baseball operations decision.

Programming will begin on the afternoon of Friday, March 13 and will run through Sunday afternoon on March 15.

Mr. Benesh’s students have won back-to-back for three years at SABR in 2017, 2018, and 2019. We wish them success again this year.
