Moonball is an Official Selection in the 6th Annual VHSL Film Festival! High school filmmakers across the Commonwealth submitted 73 films from 28 schools to the VHSL Film Festival, and 39 have been designated Official Selections and will be honored with an online screening and awards presentation on June 5.
Congratulations to the following MW students for their film “Moonball” and its selection in the Commercial/PSA category: Daphne Pang (’21-Henrico), Grace Liu (’21-Henrico), and Emma Hunter (’22-Richmond) directors, and Kirby Westerfield (’22-Hanover) as the actor. The faculty sponsor of the MW Film Club is Amanda Lemco.
Moonball is a one-minute PSA advocating for the greater protection of the environment. The logline of the film is, “The ball is in your court. Don’t play with our earth.”
