MW students take top prizes at Asian American Celebration May 4th, earning $1,400 for MW Arts

This weekend at the 22nd Annual Asian American Celebration at the Richmond Convention Center, Maggie L. Walker art students took top prizes in the art contest earning a combined $1,400 for the Maggie L. Walker Arts Dept. 

Tina Le (’21-Henrico) won first place for her painting and Jacqueline Yu’s (’20-Henrico) artwork was selected for second place.   Both these students received their prizes and certificates from 7th District US Congresswoman, Abigail Spanberger.  Please join us in congratulating these talented students!
