National Student Leadership Week April 22-26

Student response Wordle#1Student input wordle#2

Student leaders make significant contributions to the climate and culture of their schools and communities, and it’s important to celebrate that! National Student Leadership Week (NSLW) is an annual theme-based week dedicated to recognizing and supporting the vital role of student leaders. Since 1972, the national office of National Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society, and National Student Council has sponsored NSLW.

Maggie Walker students were asked to tell us about #1) what they think is the most important problem facing our community, and #2) share their suggestions to solve that problem. With their response, we captured their thoughts, suggestions, and words into a WordCloud.  The WordCloud made from student input from 2019 is attached to this post.

NSLW 2019 is being celebrated April 22-26 with the theme “Student Leaders: Taking Charge.”
