Philanthropic Mech-Tech Dragons are collecting can tabs for charity

Robotics toy donation

Student talking with charity house residentChief Community Outreach Officer Som Mohapatra (’19-Henrico) and team members Ryan Kaplan (’19-Henrico), Amanda Perez (’21-Henrico), and Raina Tian (’20-Henrico) of the MLWGS Mech-Tech Dragons shared with us they had a wonderful time this past weekend dropping off toys collected from their school-wide charity drive to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond.

The team’s current drive is collecting can tabs, and if you have any please drop them off in the Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School for Government and International Studies cafeteria in the collection box.

Very impressive charitable work by the Mech-Tech Dragons who are also in their robot build season.
