Seventy-seven seniors got started early this summer on their college applications. The second annual MLWGS College Application Boot Camp was held August 17, 18 and 19, with a morning and an afternoon session each day. In a supportive group environment, with Penny Deck and Rachel Loving, our two Senior Counselors at the helm, seniors worked on their Common Applications and college essays. Students also enjoyed hearing from a special guest speaker, Ryan Hargraves, Senior Associate Dean of Undergraduate Admission, from the University of Virginia, who delivered a lively and humorous presentation on crafting the personal essay.
