Prom on June 5th, ‘A Celestial Evening’

After months of work by the sponsor, Ms. Amy Maxey-Suy, Maggie Walker had its first successful student dance in over a year’s time with the Junior-Senior Prom 2021 on June 5th. Ms. Maxey-Suy went from not knowing if there would even be a dance, to weekly changes of venue-no venue, date changes, and capacity changes. But last Saturday, Amy gave our juniors and seniors a lifetime memory.  We thank her for the many hours spent coordinating details to make this dance happen for our students. 

Here are a few imagines from the dance. Seeing the Dragons back together in this setting after a year-plus under COVID is wonderful!
