Reminder: Incoming Freshman Parent Orientation this Wednesday

The 2017-18 school year is right around the corner, and we are excited to welcome you to the Maggie Walker Governor’s School family!  Please join us for the Incoming Parent Orientation, set for this Wednesday, May 24th from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm.  At the Incoming Parent Orientation, faculty and current parents will share ways for you to get involved and support your student while they are attending MLWGS. 

 The schedule for the event is as follows:

5:30 to 6:00 p.m.

Presentation in the Mooney Auditorium

(2nd floor of Maggie Walker)

6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Reception in Cafeteria and Student Commons

(1st floor of Maggie Walker)

Please feel free to park in the student parking lots and use the Blue Stone Lobby entrance.  The Dragon’s Lair (the school store) will also be open.
