National School Counselors Week 2026, sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), will take place from February 2nd to February 6th. The theme is: School Counselors Amplify Student Success. National School Counselors Week aims to draw public attention to the unique role of school counselors in the US education system and to showcase how students benefit from their services.
School Counseling Week at MLWGS recognizes the essential role our school counselors play in supporting students’ academic success, well-being, and future planning. Celebrated during the first full week of February, this week honors the dedication and care counselors provide every day.
We hope you will join us in recognizing our dedicated counselors, Dr. Rachel Loving, Ms. Kimberly Forquer, Ms. Joy Cobb, Ms. Kelly Ndayizigiye, and Ms. Erin Ortiz. Our counselors are assisted by Mr. Lucas Veale, Registrar.
Go Dragons!
