The Mech Tech Dragons earn impressive achievements at FRC event

 Congratulations to the Mech Tech Dragons!

This past weekend, the team earned an incredible achievement by winning the prestigious Impact Award and Event champions—marking another Double Blue Banner weekend!

We also celebrate individual honors:

  • Sofia Santos (’27-Chesterfield) was named a FIRST Leadership Award Semifinalist.
  • Mr. Mark Sailer was recognized as a Woodie Flowers Finalist Nominee.

The team will compete again this weekend in Blacksburg and has officially qualified for the FIRST Chesapeake District Championship in April.

Good luck to Team 422, Sofia, and Mr. Sailer.
