The MLWGS Winter Concert on December 13 will be performed at Highland Springs High School

2024 Winter Concert

The Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School Music Program will present its winter concert at Highland Springs High School on Friday, December 13, at 7:00 PM. Musicians and singers from the chorus, band, and orchestra will collaborate to perform a variety of pieces, including music by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, a student-arranged movie soundtrack, George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue,” and more! The concert is free to attend. The MLWGS Music Program would like to thank Highland Springs for the use of its facility, which has made it possible to continue the tradition of a collaborative winter concert.

Please enter the building by following the sidewalk near the football stadium and entering through door #11, which is the first set of quadruple doors on the right.

Congratulations to our Performing Arts teachers for this outstanding concert: Mr. Nicholas Merillat, Ms. Allison Barnes, and Mr. Joseph Revell.
