Two Dragons Receive National Medals from Scholastics, one is going to Carnegie Hall

Congratulations to Clair Dickinson (’22-Henrico) who received a GOLD KEY for her Flash Fiction piece entitled “Aviation,” and Alys Goodwin (’20-Chesterfield) who received a SILVER KEY for her Flash Fiction piece entitled “Guardless”.  

Clair has been invited to:

  • the National Ceremony at Carnegie Hall;
  • Maker Prom, a night of dancing and fun where students can celebrate with their fellow National Medalists while participating in exciting creative activities;
  • Art.Write.Now.2019 National Exhibition on display at Parsons School of Design at The New School and Pratt Institute’s Pratt Manhattan Gallery, featuring selected works from students receiving Gold Medals for portfolios and in individual categories, American Visions and Voices Medals, Silver Medals with Distinction Portfolio Awards, and Special Achievement Awards;
  • and other events to highlight the creative accomplishments of these talented teens.
