VCU Medical & MW Advanced Orchestra Joint Concert, March 11th

Maggie Walker’s Advanced Orchestra pairs up with the VCU Medical Orchestra on Wednesday, March 11th at 7:30 pm to perform a Masterworks Concert featuring two senior violin soloists. The Orchestra will begin the performance with the first movement from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 and Jupiter from Holst’s The Planets. Then they will welcome Emma Chun to the stage to perform the 1st movement from Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E Minor followed by Alyssa Wright to perform the 3rd movement. Drinks and cookies to follow the performance. 

March 11 @ 7:30 pm at MLWGS. There are no admission charges for this concert.
