‘We the People’ State championship competition on Saturday, January 27

Wishing Mr. Sam Ulmschneider and the students of ‘We the People’ the best of luck at their Virginia State Championship competition on January 27th at Randolph-Macon College, in Ashland, VA. We know you are ready!

We the People competitions in Virginia are for middle and high school We the People teams. Participation in a qualifying, regional competition is required to compete at the state level. The top 9 scoring middle schools, and top 9 scoring high schools, in the regional finals, are invited to compete in the state competition. The winning high school will compete on the biggest stage for the We the People National Finals in the spring.

MLWGS is the current defending WTP Virginia State and national champion and has been consistently successful in competitions having won the national title five times in the 30+year history of the competition.
