Webb announced as the head track coach for MLWGS

After 15 years (and now a 16th Cross Country season) coaching alongside an incredible staff and working with so many outstanding Green Dragon student-athletes, we are thrilled to share that Ryan Webb has officially accepted the position of Head Coach for Track & Field at Maggie Walker Governor’s School beginning with indoor track this winter. Webb follows legendary Hall of Fame Coach Jim Holdren, who has served this team since the inception of Maggie Walker Governor’s School.

This program has become synonymous with excellence both in and out of the competitive arena, and he is excited to continue this tradition as the program enters this new evolution.

“Our focus will remain on building a supportive, competitive, and fun environment where every athlete has the chance to grow, push their limits, and contribute to the team’s success,” said Webb.” “I can’t wait to get to work, and have already started preparations for the upcoming Indoor Track & Field season.”

The future of Green Dragon Track & Field is bright with Coach Webb!
