XC State Championship Results

This past weekend, Maggie Walker cross-country athletes competed at the VHSL State Championship in Blacksburg. The boys’ team finished in 2nd place, securing their second consecutive podium performance and their third in the past four years. They were led by Senior Colston Wisotzki from Richmond, who achieved an All-State finish, coming in 6th place with a time of 16:18. This marked Colston’s second consecutive All-State award in Cross Country and represents the highest individual finish by a Maggie Walker boy since the school moved up to Class 3. Senior Leo Chenoweth also had a strong showing, finishing 16th and just missing a spot on the All-State team.
