This year, ARGS (Appomattox Regional Governor’s School) compiled volume 2 of the Young Voices of RVA in connection with the Richmond Poetry Festival held at the Visual Arts Center this past weekend.
Of the 47 high school students whose work appears in the anthology, 15 are from MLWGS, including the second- and third-place winners!
The judge was Dr. Carolyn Kreiter-Foronda, poet, professor, and former Poet Laureate of Virginia (2006-2008).
