MLWGS Regional School Board passes Resolution Condemning Racism

At its June 18, 2020 meeting, the Regional School Board unanimously approved a resolution condemning racism and to nurture an anti-racist learning environment at Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School. The Board remains committed to providing a high-quality education for every child at MLWGS with an inclusive
educational environment where every student, teacher, support professional, parent, and community member is treated with dignity and respect, as well as our commitment to continue fighting for racial justice and human and civil rights for all.

The complete resolution is posted on the school diversity page of its website https://mlwgs.com/welcome-to-mlwgs/diversity/
