On Thursday, March 7th, the Intermediate and Advanced Jazz Bands performed for the Youth Art and Music Month opening gala at MLWGS. Eight members of the MLWGS Dragon Chess Club participated in the Virginia Scholastic (K12) Chess Championship in Charlottesville, VA. The Honor Council will be hosting an assembly for all students on Friday, March 15th.  This will focus on academic honor and personal integrity.  The speaker is Derek Wang (Class of ’16) who is currently on UVA’s Honor Council.  The assembly will be 30 minutes in length and carried out through a split schedule.
